Hi need a new bladder for my 2007 Sonic, no importer in the UK anymore to purchase it from, noticed the last question about this was answered december last year, any progress with a new distributor for the UK? Presume you still want to sell kites here? Will not buy any more GK kites if there is no rep in my country, doubt anyone else would ether?

I am also in the UK

I am trying to get a LE bladder for my 2007 11 m GK sonic.

I ordered what I thought was a GK sonic bladder from Kite line in the states ( paid $175!!!) and they sent me some airtime bladder with stick on valves!! It is longer and wider  than my bladder.

I have been unable to get it working yet!! Dont get one!

I would also like to know where I can get a new GK sonic bladder from, even if it is in the states?

cheers

Andrew

Hi, I'm gonna get a new bladder from these guys:

Wanikou.com

Gonna send them my old one so they can copy it. Been quoted 113euros, pricey, but no choice, as GK customer service, as no doubt you are aware, is crap these days!

Hope that helps, will post back here when I get the new one back to let you know how I get on..

Any chance of a reply Matt Pendle as to why you don't want to sell kites in the UK anymore?

Kevin

This why I wanted to purpose to you, In France we have 2 kind of known providers to make bladders.

Wanikoo and SDboudinsconcept.

Nota that Wanikoo is nice too but for myself I use to work with the second one >> http://perso.wanadoo.fr/sdboudinsconcept/ more friendly and by experiment I always use to told to my customer to send their old bladder because, if sdboudinsconcept remarks that the bladder is sitll good and just need a repair so they will make the repair and that is all so they do not push to selling and selling more that it is necessary.

JUST DO THE WORK AS I LIKE.

They work quickly and test always the baldder before send to me.

When you make communication with SDBoudinsconcept tell us that it is me "William AUNEAU from Freerider-Kite.com" whom tell you to contact SDBoudinsconcept.

Have a nice week-end an ddo not esitate to visite me in Saint Malo by the ferry-boat.

Smile

Cheers for the answer!

The problem with my bladder is that the one pump valves keep splitting(not separating from the bladder but splitting themselves). Notice nobody uses these smaller than standard (8mm?) valves anymore, just not strong enough I guess?

Could just fix it up but then if another goes elsewhere another session without my kite, and it's my 11 metre, so, of course, my more commonly used size..

Cheers for the recommendation anyway, really like GK kites but with no importer in the UK can't see me buying anymore, so many other equally good brands that are represented here, not worth the hassle when things go wrong!

Thanks again Kev

Hi,

For now we have no distributor in the UK, we have a few wanting to do the job, but need to get the correct guys. For now it is no problem for us to ship direct to the UK from Hong Kong, If you need spare parts, Kites, bladders we can ship.

For better follow up we have just added a new "My Ticket" tab in "My Account", this will be working in a few days, you will get an email with your login ( it will be your email) and password that you will be able to change to your globespirit password.

This Ticket system will allow you to submit direct request to us, eash request will have an ID number, you can join photos to explain you problem, you will be able to give a category to your problem, so follow up will be easy.

Speak soon
