Hi there,

can someone explain to me the three different knots (adjustable) on the bridle (where you attach the front lines).

Obviously it can change the length of the front lines shorten/lengthen, but how does it adjust the performance of the kite.

For example, should you use the last knot in strong winds etc.

Thanks in advance.  Is there somewhere that this is already written, I could not find it in the AKPO instructions.

Thanks

Damien

Hi,

The 3 knots are to adjust the length of the bridle, as when you will change the A-KPO adjustment points you will modify the length of the bridle, and the length of your front lines.

I will be doing a few more small videos to explain in detail.

In my point of view, it will not only change the lenght of the front lines, but also the goemetry of the bridle system and possibly the behaviour of the kite, not only the power (back-front lines ratio).

But in the video, Mat said it change only the overall lenght of the front lines.

Can we know the truth about this ?  On guy said it did a big difference changing the knots ...
