Freestyle Competition will focus on 2 disciplines -

_1) Park competition incl. a kicker, rail and a fun box
_2) Traditional freestyle consisting of qualifying heats.

Race Competition will be comprised of 2 disciplines -

_1) Course racing, aka 'boardercross'
_2) Distance racing w/10-12 mi. course (dep. on cond.)

There will also be awards for the following:

Big Air, Kite Loop, Best Trick, and Best photo.

Depending on registration,

there will be a Masters Division (35 and over)

and a Minor Division (17 and under).

October the 11 and 12.

This year, Trébeurden hosts for its 4th edition, the Trégor Kite Party, final Championship Britain ''long distance''. This event is open to all licensees and will be held in Trébeurden (Cotes d'Armor - 22), on the beach Goas Trez conducive to the evolution of the sport and recognized as one of the best "spots kiting" of the region. In case of unfavorable wind, other spots (Trébeurden common, and Trégastel Pleumeur-Bodou) will provide a plan B.

Of course GK will be there for purpose tests with TrixII and VsonicI.

Looking forward to rockin' out at the 5th annual Kitemare Bash in Oscoda/Tawas, MI on the beautiful (and cold!!!) shores of Lake Huron!  Event dates are October 10, 11, 12.  This is a more freestyle event, with some great Michigan fall winds, and allows the local kiters to get together and kite for one last event before the long icy grip of winter (and snow kiting) is here.  Not only that but Halloween costumes are a must...especially after night falls and we hit up the local establishments for some drinks and good times!  Updates will soon be posted after the event...we'll definately be flying the trix and v-sonic as well as Litewave boards and accessories!!!
