1/ With 10cm of pigtails on the backs lines the kite is really great!

Level feeling and behavior, it is identical to the 09m² size.

This has been necessary for some 12m ².

 

If your hight end wind and jumps are not abble to offert you satisfactions... you have to test this.

 

2/ For waves avec wakestyle use a 21m long lines... Cool

    I use the 12m Trix with the 21m lines, actually with the bar of the 9m, it makes it so great and responsive, direct connection to the kite for meaty loops. Just sweet! About to start my third season with those great kites.
    To be able to use the same bar, extra rear pigtails, about 10-15cm are indeed required.

    Yes this is something I have to fix for 09, the solution is to shorten the bridle, there is no reason we only have this on the 12 Trix and not on the other Trix sizes.

    I have a 2008 9m Trix II (w/ 2008 GK Bar). I plan to get a 12m Trix soon. Mat, please explain a bit more about what you mean by your statement - 'we only have this on the 12 Trix and not on the other Trix sizes.' Only have what (attribute? feature?) on the 12 Trix?

    Also I use the 21m GK bar on Trix 12m, without extra pigtails, but only changing the trim knot down the depower strap to shorten the front lines about of 10 cm.
    Is the only way to use the trix, responsive as well as it can, in WAVE conditions.

    it looks like this has been fixed on the '09 12m. I brought some extra pigtails with me just in case, but didn't need them. The kite was nicely setup straight out of the box (on the 21m bar). That's really good.

    Not so in love with the factory AKPO settings, but that's a personal thing. F2 F5 is the way to go!
